ED THE OLDIES KNIGHT is the man who started DWR4U along with his better half Lady Mare. The Oldies Knight plays some great American style rock n roll along with the sweet street corner sounds of doo wop . He can be heard here every Sunday night @ 8et/7ct

 DJ GG grew up in New York on Long Island and still resides   there.  She is part of the baby boomer generation and she has   a great appreciation of all music but especially 60's, 70's &   early 80's.  This music always puts  a smile on her face   especially when she is crusin' in her 1979 Cadillac. For the   past seven years she has  worked with Night Train in the field   and learned to MC & spin the tunes. She also joined DJ   Nighttrain on his Friday night show. Now she has her own   program every Sunday night @ 8pm et. We are happy that she   is part of the Doowopradio4u family. DJ GG will be playing all genres of music so tune her in Sunday night @ 8pm et. / 7pm ct

 

I became interested in music while in elementary school and that interest has continued to this day. My first group as a teenager was The Ethics and around 1963, we recorded our very first 45 record. After returning home from Vietnam in 1967, I couldn’t get my job back without a fight, so in 1969, I raised my hand once again and became a proud member of the N.Y.P.D. As we say, life got in the way. In 2006 I joined a Doo Wop group called The Acchords and I was with them for over eleven years and over six hundred performances. I was fortunate and honored to have performed with and opened for some of the biggest names in the industry… life certainly is a trip!
