DJ Ray was born in New Orleans, La. He he grew up with Doo Wop. He remembers as a kid walking down Magazine Street in New Orleans and hearing “Annie Had A Baby” by The Midnighters and “At My Front Door” by The El Dorados and Hearts of Stone by The Charms. That was when he fell in love with the Doo Wop sound. He grew up listening to legendary New Orleans DJ’s like Poppa Stoppa and Jack the Cat. his love for Doo Wop and fifties R & B is the reason why it is a pleasure to be associated with DOOWOPRADIO4U and all the people that are helping to keep the music alive.
ED THE OLDIES KNIGHT is the man who started DWR4U along with his better half Lady Mare. The Oldies Knight plays some great American style rock n roll along with the sweet street corner sounds of doo wop . He can be heard here every Sunday night @ 8et/7ct

Doctor Bop is the Motown connection transplanted from Brooklyn, New York
he sang with the Ethics as their baritone and second tenor with Brooklyn Billy.
his background in oldies dates back to July of 1972 at WCBS-FM Radio in NewYork where he and the actingprogram director began the oldies quest for the station.
Three years later, he moved to the Motor City where he was the production director
at CKLW Radio in Windsor, Canada. He also programmed the oldies formats for KBZT in San Diego and WTWR in Detroit.
His love and knowledge of oldies has made him a natural for doowopradio4u and
furthers his quest to keep the music alive.
